A Lifetime on the Water
Longboat Supply Co. was born from a multi-generational love for the water. From childhood summers spent on the glacial waters of Keuka Lake in Upstate New York—where our founder learned to water ski at age seven and earned a New York State boater’s safety license by age eleven—to offshore coastal runs in Fort Lauderdale aboard a family Sea Ray, boating has always been a way of life.
As a teenager, that passion matured into formal seamanship during immersive training at the prestigious ActionQuest sailing camp in the British Virgin Islands. These foundational experiences built a profound respect for coastal navigation, vessel operations, and the gravity of maritime preparedness.
From Corporate Real Estate to Coastal Innovation
Following a successful fourteen-year career navigating corporate real estate sales and leasing in New York City, the pull of the water and family brought our founder back to Sarasota. Re-entering the Florida Gulf Coast lifestyle provided a front-row seat to the next evolution of marine technology.
In 2021, an introduction to advanced eFoil flight in nearby Osprey changed everything. Recognizing a massive shift toward premium electric watercraft, we partnered directly with Awake in 2026 to bring their cutting-edge electric jetboard and premier eFoil technology to the Sarasota region. That relentless pursuit of elite marine innovation ultimately inspired the launch of Longboat Supply Co.
